Do you feel creatively blocked? Are you a person who is creative, but struggles to identify as an artist? Do you want to make art but feel like something’s holding you back? Do you think there are a lot of rules about who gets to be an artist? Are you an artist but feel blocked, or want to feel more free to express yourself?
Then this workshop is for you!
Leif J. Lee and Rebekah Erev, inspired by their own creative rituals and practices will guide you through identifying your creative blocks with exercises to unlock your creative animal. (It’s wild.) They will share their personal journeys, and continued challenges with being a creative person.
Once we identify our blocks we’ll encourage each other in our creative expression with group exercises. We will transform our struggles, and use our vulnerability as a source of strength and inspiration! In the workshop we will do a low pressure collaborative art project to really let our freak flags fly, and bring together a community of artists through group collaboration.
All are welcome! Please contact Lee or Erev directly for scholarship information.
